<p>The incumbent is accountable for obtaining requests for quotes from contractors and sales representatives and to coordinate the layout of the specifications.&nbsp; The Quotations Specialist/ Project Coordinator is responsible for investigating manufacturer coverage and negotiating with a variety of suppliers to obtain pricing terms and delivery schedules.&nbsp; He/she is responsible for ensuring delivery deadlines are observed and received according to terms of contract.</p>

* Collaborate with vendors as required<br />
* Purchasing and expediting of projects<br />
* Drawing preparation<br />
* Drawing transmittal &amp; document control<br />

<p>Qualifications:<br />

* Product knowledge of the electrical business is essential<br />
* Must have exceptional organizational skills<br />
* Computer literacy - proficient with all Microsoft Office<br />
* Knowledge of the AS400 syntax software is essential<br />

			<p><strong>Kimberley, BC</strong> &ndash; We are currently seeking a Manager to lead the opening of the new Kimberley Conference and Athlete Training Centre (KCATC). This position will take clients from post sales through to post event or activity in a professional and seamless fashion in accordance with the facility&#8217;s best practices, as well as work with key stakeholders in the management of the Conference and the Athlete Training Centre. Must be prepared to solicit and stimulate new meeting and event business focused on our strategic marketing plan. An excellent communicator, the Manager is proficient at building relationships with new clients, industry partners and suppliers to ensure success for each event or activity booked into the Kimberley Conference and Athlete Training Centre. Working with existing and new partners the responsibilities will include Client Relations, Contract Management and Administration, Event Management and Supervision, Event Organization and overall Facility management. </p>

<p>The successful candidate will have the following: <br />
Degree or diploma in Event Management, Business Administration or compatible education and experience plus three to four years overall experience in conference services management including supervisory experience. (i.e. 2 - 3 years experience in the event or client service industry and 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred). </p>

<p>Experience in using event management software and/or a general central reservations system is a definite asset. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products; communication and presentation software; Knowledge of general office accounting practices/procedures, A/R, A/P, Bank and Ledger entries. </p>

<p>Must be available to work flexible hours based on client and business needs; Professional work ethic, demeanour and appearance; </p>

<p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; </p>

<p>Comfortable with working independently and displays initiative, ability to mentor and provide leadership;<br />
 
Must possess a high level of motivation, energy, and enthusiasm; </p>

<p>A demonstrated passion for excellent client service; </p>

<p>Strong organizational skills and highly self-motivated; </p>
